Brunches With Santa at Golf Course Clubs

Brunch after the wedding

Golf is one of America’s favorite sports with over 1,000 golf clubs existing in the United States as of 1900. That number has continued to rise as golf club memberships continue to draw the American public. In a regulated round of golf, players can have up to 14 clubs in their bag at one time. Many people choose golf as a way of getting exercise; a 175 LB male can burn up to 460 calories if he carries his clubs for just one hour of play — this can be a 2.5 mile walk on a nine hole course. There is more to do than just golf at these clubs though.

Brunches

Many clubs offer a Sunday brunch buffet. Brunch originated in England over 30 years ago and it has just started to catch on here in the states. Many people favor brunches with ethnic spins on traditional favorites like chorizo scrambled eggs, coconut milk pancakes, and several Asian-inspired syrup flavors to fit 2015’s “hot food trend”. During the holidays, many golf clubs invite families to have brunches with Santa Clause. These brunches with Santa in December give the whole family a reason to get out of the house and socialize.

Weddings

According to Hudson Valley Weddings, up to 35% of today’s weddings are now outdoor affairs. With the average budget for many wedding ceremonies and receptions reaching up to $28,385 many people are looking for a beautiful, economical location. Golf resorts are often listed beside beaches and national parks as some of the most beautiful, unique wedding places. Many golf clubs will rent out their facilities to even non-members, although it certainly helps to have a connection inside the club. So if you’re looking for a place to practice your swing, spend time with the family, or maybe you’re looking to get your own family started; whatever it is, golf resorts offer enough services to satisfy even the pickiest customer.
