Three of the Best Ways to Reuse Guacamole

Guacamole dip

Fresh guacamole dips are a favorite dip to have at parties, but what do you do with the leftovers? Sure, you can put some saran wrap on the bowl and save your fresh guacamole for later, but why bother when there are so many other great ways to reuse your guac? Here are just a few!

On a Sandwich.

Leftover or fresh guacamole goes great on sandwiches, believe it or not. Throw it on a BLT, with some tomato and cucumber, or even on a grilled cheese. Really, guac makes a great addition to just about any sandwich you can think of. Just spread it on the bread with a butter knife, throw the other ingredients on, and enjoy.

In a Salad.

Why not reuse your guacamole in a salad? Start with all the typical salad ingredients you’d normally use — lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers. Then, add some southwestern ingredients in, like corn or tangy banana peppers. Lastly, drop big dollop of guac right in the center of your fresh guacamole salad, and enjoy!

With Something New.

Pretzels and guacamole are an obvious combination, as are tortilla chips and fresh guacamole, but have you ever considered dipping anything else in? Maybe something like a quesadilla? One of the only ways to improve the delicious, cheesy goodness that is a quesadilla is with a nice guacamole dip. Or what about some veggies? Guacamole doesn’t have to just be made out of delicious vegetables, it can also be served with them, too.

Who would have thought that you could do so many things with the leftovers of your fresh guacamole dips? Guacamole sandwiches and guacamole salads are two great ways you can repurpose your delicious dips, or if you feel like enjoying it as is, you can try dipping something new in.

There are no limits to how you can enjoy your fresh guacamole, and if you know of any other recipes using guacamole not mentioned on this list, feel free to share in the comments.
